IFA Sales Support Administrator - Asset Management Firm - Northampton

Salary to 23,000 plus extensive benefits

Paul Charles Recruitment is delighted to be assisting this highly regarded wealth manager with their search for an additional IFA/Intermediary Services Administrator to join their team in their office in Northampton.

The role is extremely varied with two key facets to the role it is a supporting member of the Asset Management teams and in addition has a role in general office administration.

The main function of the role is as key support to the Head of Intermediary Services (HIS), sitting within the Asset Management Team. The focus of this role is to ensure that all administrative functions for the Intermediary Customers and their Clients are executed to a high standard to allow the Intermediary business to develop and related investment activities to run smoothly. As secondary to this, the ISAA will provide trade support to the Platform Execution Manager (PEM), and also aids to other departments, by attending to general office administration.

The Primary function of the role is to ensure that:-

i) Support is provided to help customers (being the intermediaries) with everything they require with regards to a Discretionary Fund Management (DFM) service.
ii) All administration is provided to support the Intermediary Sales Managers (ISMs) in their roles of marketing the proposition and developing the network.

The secondary function of the role is to:
1. Process new IFA Client paperwork, including; filing, scanning, and updating IFA Customers.
2. Ensure Avelo entries are created for every client and all activity relating to the client is recorded in Avelo and that all activities are executed and all activities logged.
3. Support the ISMs, including providing; meeting packs with relevant briefing notes, brochures, promotional items, etc. on request from HIS.
4. Use FE Analytics to run comparisons of our investment performance against benchmarks as required and pass to the HIS for review before logging.
5. Manage cash levels held at third party providers on behalf of Intermediary Customers, as requested, by arranging sufficient cash movements between platform to cover fees, across all Clients.
6. Collate and send weekly and monthly valuations to Rafter for the requested Clients.
7. Be aware of the location of the ISMs for the following day in case they need to be contacted.
8. Issue new IFA firms with the paperwork their clients will need to complete, using the standard packs in the sales process folders.
9. Book meetings for Intermediary Sales Managers (ISMs) and Investment Analyst as required.
10. Assist in any ad hoc tasks, audits and projects.
11. Responsible for the daily data feeds for the Avelo Client Portal and ensuring that this is reconciling / there are no problems.
12. Going through individual activity list in tandem with the HIS.
13. Monitoring stock levels of stationery and organising an efficient ordering system.
14. Upload marketing material to the website, as requested, in a timely manner.
